Film day

So today is filming day. I had one group come up at lunch time to film so they could use the classroom board. I am listening to students analyze their scripts. I only have six cameras and more groups so that is going to be a problem in a few minutes. This will also be a concern when we go to transfer the video to the computer. My students have lots of cute ideas. One group brought in white gloves for the hand that is going to do the constructions and another found a unique type of compass to use instead of my class set. They have some fun ideas. I can't wait to see what they come up with. They are really motivated! I unfortunately couldn't get the computer lab for tomorrow so we are going to run into next week with this project. A lot of kids are coming up tomorrow at lunch to work on it as well. As a downside the kids do kind of need quiet to film and my classroom isn't as big as would be necessary. When I originally scheduled this project I was going to reserve the media center so there would be a very large area for the kids to have but it is unfortunately being used. All in all so far so good considering. I am still waiting for the huge mess to occur.
